Component leg control unit

For many years now, FUJI's spirit of innovation has enabled the electronics industry to benefit from versatile, high-performance production resources in terms of both placement speed and precision and quality.

The existing 3D coplanarity control unit (video below) uses 3D vision technology to inspect the legs of components such as SOPs, QFPs, SOJs and connectors, as well as the balls of BGAs and CSPs, before these components are installed. This accurate and versatile pre-installation flaw detection tool is not always used to its full potential, especially when it comes to inspecting BGA or CSP balls.

That's why FUJI has developed a new, more cost-effective solution, based on laser technology, which only checks the legs of SOP, QFP and connector components with a maximum dimension of 32x100 mm. Available on the AIMEX range, it can easily be integrated into an existing machine.
