Smart Nozzle Cleaner

Nozzle maintenance: essential for optimum laying quality.

The Smart Nozzle Cleaner not only cleans nozzles, it also performs an inspection on nozzles that are difficult to check visually. Maintenance history and inspection results are automatically recorded in the system, and nozzle stations can be deposited directly into the SNC at the machine exit.

The SNC removes nozzles from nests, cleans and inspects them automatically. It checks the condition of all nozzles and rejects non-compliant ones, which are classified by type of defect. It reads 2D codes, checks air flow, nozzle slide and nozzle tip condition. Operator time is considerably reduced, from 120 to 0.4 seconds per nozzle (excluding inspection time).

With its large storage capacity of 1000 nozzles, it can be used for several types of operation:

Normal mode: places nozzles in a station after cleaning and inspection

Exchange mode: exchanges nozzles waiting in the stocker with cleaned and inspected nozzles.

Storage mode: cleans and inspects nozzles waiting in the storage unit

Inspection mode: inspects nozzles at a predefined station

Manual mode: Sets the types and specified quantity of nozzles in a station, or unloads nozzles onto a tray without nest placement.
