TVR (Top View Recognition)

FUJI has developed a vision process called TVR (Top View Recognition) to anticipate and correct any placement defects. TVR enables the machine to identify features on the top of the component before it is picked.

Two functions are possible with TVR:

• Verification of the correct component :
  • Analyze the physical characteristics of the component and compare them with a reference image.
  • Prevent the wrong component from being picked.
  • Analyze and recognize characters inscribed on the component.
• Component direction verification:
  • Determine whether the direction of the component is correct. If this is not the case, the user has several options:
    • The machine makes the necessary angle correction to position the component in the correct direction.
    • The machine picks up the component, throws it into a garbage can and takes over the next component.
    • The machine stops.

The TVR is compatible with both FUJI's AIMEX and NXT ranges.
