The AIMEX-III is then able to adapt dynamically to the board profile to be assembled, whatever the respective percentages of chips and packages, to guarantee optimum productivity!

The FUJI AIMEX-III placement machine is ideally suited to small and medium production runs, as well as large-scale production changes.

Thanks to its large number of feeder slots (130 8mm slots) coupled with its modular head technology (DX), the FUJI AIMEX-III can accommodate all types of components from 01005" upwards. Its modular configuration (Dual/Single lane - Single/twin head) widens the range of production possibilities and can accommodate PCBs up to 1068 x 710mm.

FUJI has also developed a new image-processing method (vision type 0), enabling simple editing of all types of components.

With the new NEXIM Part Editor module for component positioning, and the VPD remote camera station, the operator can easily edit a reference component. During production, when the component is viewed, its coordinates are precisely compared with the reference component. This greatly reduces program set-up time.

New image processing of legs also enables components with exotic leg shapes to be edited and analyzed for component positioning and inspection.

Vision Type 0" allows the operator to set up component data, either using the NEXIM Part Editor module, or directly on the machine, enabling rapid set-up and improving productivity during large-scale production changes.
