AIMEX-R is designed for "High-Mix" production environments, and inherits the versatility of the AIMEX series, which offers high productivity while guaranteeing high placement quality.
This SMT platform boasts the following features:
- Versatility, enabling the production of PCBs loaded with a wide range of components (130 front and rear loading 8mm slots).
- Quality tending towards zero placement defects.
- Transfer rates to meet all production needs and volumes (single or double conveyor configuration).
The AIMEX-R is largely based on the architecture of the NXT-R, and uses the same transfer heads. Compared with the previous generation, the new placement heads support a wider range of components, enabling greater flexibility without impacting on throughput.
Thanks to the use of carts, the AIMEX-R also enables ultra-fast series changes.
The machine can be configured as a single or double conveyor for panel sizes ranging from 1068 x 610 mm (single head) to 1068 x 280 mm (dual head).
SMT component placement is accurate to ±25 μm.
In addition, the descent of the bus nozzle can be controlled to apply the appropriate pressure during placement.
