DESTACO updates its 800 series pneumatic clamps

DESTACO, a preferred partner of FENWICK, is pleased to announce that it has completed quality upgrades to three models in its 800 Series family of pneumatic clamping products. These upgrades are part of DESTACO's commitment to constantly investigate and identify ways to improve the capabilities of its products, with the ultimate goal of achieving the highest level of innovative performance for every component.

The pneumatic flange model 802-U pneumatic clamp receives the most significant quality improvements. Updates include an updated pneumatic cylinder that guarantees a gripper force below maximum holding capacity under normal pressure, thus extending service life; new composite bearings in the trunnion housing and cylinder pivot point that eliminate metal-to-metal contact and require no lubrication; a redesigned clevis bolt, plus increased rivet and pre-stop diameters for superior longevity.

Two other 800 Series pneumatic clamps have also been updated:

- Model 807-U: Now incorporates maintenance-free, lubrication-free composite bearings in the pin housing, an optimized clevis bolt and a reconfigured base, eliminating any resistance that could compromise the unit's opening and closing performance.

- Model 810-U: incorporates new composite bearings that eliminate metal-to-metal contact, thus extending service life without lubrication or maintenance.
