The Transvectors air curtain range

Air curtain tranvectors are air amplifiers, using a small amount of filtered compressed air to deliver a powerful, laminar, high-speed blade of air over large areas such as webs, films, sheets, car bodies and other large moving assemblies and objects.
Vortec's patented design provides increased thrust and speed, reduced noise, and excellent uniformity over the chosen surface.
The amplification coefficient of a Transvector can reach 25 and the total flow rate 68 m3/min.
All Transvectors are equipped with a fine 0.05 mm spacer.
It's this narrow gap that enables the compressed air to reach very high speeds (up to 300 m/s) and entrain the ambient air.
Two materials of construction are available for the manufacture of air curtain Transvectors: aluminum or stainless steel.
Transvector applications :
- ventilation and exhaust: welding and machining fumes, automotive exhaust, hot-dip galvanizing, oil mist, tank purging to remove harmful or hazardous vapors,
- cooling of molds and plastic or metal parts,
- blowing to evacuate dust or a film of water or oil,
- inkdrying in printing or screen printing...
