Vortec A/C cabinet cooler

Vortec A/C cabinet cooler

Presentation

Vortec A/C coolers use compressed air to deliver cold air and create a slight overpressure in the cabinet. As a result, cabinet circuits are protected from heat and dust, and your production is protected from breakdowns.

VORTEC cabinet coolers keep electrical and electronic cabinets cool, clean and protected, and are a low-cost alternative to expensive, high-maintenance air conditioners. They also avoid contamination by dirty, damp air caused by fans.

Today's multifunctional electronic controls, variable speed drives, servomotors and programmable logic controllers are small and compact, but extremely sensitive to heat and contamination. Small enclosure dimensions make temperature control difficult, leading to premature failures. Excessive heat causes digital displays to read incorrectly, controls to drift and sometimes circuit breakers to trip. The result is lost productivity due to machine or line downtime.

VORTEC cabinet air coolers maintain a slight pressure in the cabinet to keep electrical and electronic components clean and dry, and most are thermostatically controlled to keep the cabinet temperature within a specified temperature range.

Vortec offers several types of cabinet cooling systems to meet your cabinet cooling needs, all available in a variety of cooling capacities and hazardous locations; ATEX and UL certified models.

There's a complete range of Vortec A/C Chillers to meet every enclosure cooling need. The cooling capacity of Vortec Coolers is designed to dissipate the "cold" equivalent of 120W to 740W.

Advantages :

  • Very quiet operation, 62 dBA - 78% quieter than standard vortex tube coolers.
  • Thermostatic control to maintain chamber temperature
    between 21°C and 38°C (70°F and 100°F)
  • Reduces operating costs - runs only when
    when required
  • Flexible mounting options - top, side or front (door) mounted
  • No wiring required for installation - 5 minutes installation time
  • Low or no maintenance costs compared to Freon
    and freon fans
