Destaco pneumatic clamps use the same design and operation as manual clamps or linear-action clamps, but are activated by pneumatic action. They retain the toggle lock to maintain a mechanical lock, even in the event of a total loss of air pressure. Holding capacities depend on the combination of pressure, clamp and cylinder. The units are totally enclosed, and need only be connected to a pressure source. Most models are equipped with a magnetic piston ring for end-position detection using optional switches.
