Pneumatic power cylinder

Operation is based on the locking lever principle.

These double-acting cylinders follow two stages in their stroke: the forward stroke to move over a certain distance, and the power stroke with amplified force over a short distance (6 to 7 mm).

The connecting rod force in the forward stroke is that of a conventional pneumatic cylinder; the connecting rod force in the power stroke offers a mechanical advantage of up to 10:1.

The pneumatic power multiplier is ideally suited as a power source for tools and devices used in the following applications: clamping, punching, stamping, notching, riveting, pressing and flanging.
