Aquamot rend 1.1FM and 1.6FM electric fixed PODS are supplied ready to use, complete with fixed propeller, display, emergency stop switch, lithium battery, charger and anode. A customized compensating shim and folding propeller are available as options.

Which fixed POD is right for your boat?
The two models Trend 1.1 and 1.6 have been specially designed by Aquamot for sailing boats and small dinghies. Depending on hull type and environment, we recommend the Trend 1.1 model up to 1.5 tons and the Trend 1.6 model up to 1.8 tons.
How do I fit Aquamot fixed pod motors?
Fixed Pod engines are generally installed between the keel and the rudder. It is preferable for the engine to be positioned closer to the keel than to the rudder. After the propeller, hydrodynamic turbulence can produce vibrations at the rudder. The motor should also be positioned on the leeward side of the keel for less resistance.
Aquamot engines with fixed pods must also be mounted parallel to the waterline for maximum thrust. That's why Aquamot supplies custom-made shims that also help reduce vibration.
