Trend 2.2 to 25 - Yachting range
Presentation

The thrust of Aquamot Trend 2.2 to 25 outboard motors can be compared to the thrust of combustion engines from 6.5 hp to 45 hp.
Models 2.2 and 4.3 are available with tiller or remote control.
Strong, quiet, light and easy to start, Aquamot electric outboard motors are the most powerful on the market.
QUESTIONS / ANSWERS
Which trend for which boat?
As an example, models 2.2 and 4.3 can be used for dinghies, sailboats and small boats. Depending on hull type, we recommend Trend 2.2 up to 2.5 tons and Trend 4.3 up to 4 tons.
Can battery capacity be increased or reduced?
Of course, there are several ways of increasing or reducing the cruising radius. Generally speaking, traction batteries should only be used for longer periods (CAUTION: no starter or semi-traction batteries). In addition, a minimum capacity of 110Ah is recommended. All batteries must have the same capacity for maximum performance and service life. So always use specially designed Aquamot batteries!
What's included in the standard delivery?
Everything is included except batteries and chargers. Controls and panel are included for remote control models. For tiller models, the tiller is included with the motor. Standard electrical cable lengths are 3 m for the power cable, 30 cm for the battery and 6 m for the display. An extension is available as an option.
What is the cruising radius?
Cruising range depends on battery quality and capacity. Here are some examples of Silicone Deep-Cycle Aquamot Longlife batteries:
| Trend 2.2 with 2 Aquamot ALS12V/260Ah batteries | Trend 4.3 with 4 Aquamot ALS12V/260Ah batteries | |
| Idle speed | 06 h 30 min | 04 h 30 min |
| Half speed | 02 h 30 min | 01 h 45 min |
| Full throttle | 00 h 40 min | 00 h 29 min |
The range can be doubled with an optional 1,280 Wh battery.
Are these Aquamot motors safe?
Absolutely, very safe. On the one hand, the emergency cut-out protects against unwanted operation, on the other, the battery management system (BMS) protects with numerous safety functions against, for example, over- and undervoltage, short-circuits, over- and undertemperature, etc. Eight years after the date of manufacture, for safety reasons, the battery must be checked by an Aquamot service center to ensure maximum charge.
What is the warranty period?
The warranty, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, is 2 years, limited to 1,000 hours for professional users.
